Solar activity is moderate.
Region NOAA 12253 produced an M1.1 flare at 09:40 UT today along with a number of C-class events. The region has grown in size. The delta configuration is showing increased shear in the magnetic field since yesterday. An additional M-class flare is likely. An X-class flare is possible from this region.
NOAA 12253, South 07 East 15. Beta-gamma-delta region. M-class flare likely, X-class flare possible.
