Giant Prominence on 26 sept 2014; overcast, very windy, gusts of > 50 Km/h, mount unstable, threat of rain.
It had all the ingredients to make it impossible to shoot some solar prominence ... but here's a stroke of luck in a blue gash in the clouds: a huge eruptive prominence, very weak, projected on more than 500,000 km (310.500 mi) on NE limb.
This image is technically bad, and you could not do better, but it was worth being curious.
