Hardware
This is a list of the equipments used to power meteomauritius.altervista.org
- Davis Vantage Pro 2 with solar & UV sensors (wireless version) placed at 8 m of ground level.
- Serial data logger RS-232.
- The data is log using a standalone PC running with Windows 10 Home version 1909.
- Webcam MOBOTIX M24S. This webcam is only used for weather monitoring.
The images are updated every 2 minutes.
The camera is at 10 m of ground level, facing SW, directed towards Port Louis, the capital of the country, with Moka Range Mountains in the background. - Power supplied from my electric grid (photovoltaic & wind system).

This website is provided as a community service and is non-profit and does not replace the Official Authorities,
but it contributes to the implementation and observation for recording local weather data.
